Be a part of dhoop's June Book Club!

We are reading ‘Can Fixing Dinner Fix the Planet?’ for June’s book club.

Jessica Fanzo is a Professor of Climate and Food at Columbia University's Climate School. With twenty years of research and program experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and South and East Asia, Fanzo’s research focuses on the transdisciplinary field of food systems and the linkages between agriculture, health, and the environment in resource-constrained, climate-impacted settings. She studies food system dynamics and interactions and their implications on the diversity and quality of diets, nutrition and health outcomes, environmental sustainability, and climate adaptation.

We will also try and look at some food policies in India that affect the way we eat.

P.S. We will gather on 30th May, 5 pm to discuss a few selected writings from the book.
