Be a part of dhoop's April Book Club!

For the month of April, we are reading ‘Cultivating Hope: Exploring Food Growing Possibilities in Urban Cities’ Edition 1. The collection is curated by Deborah Dutta and Amrita Hazra and features a lot researchers, writers, women, and organisations working in the food-adjacent spaces.

In Deborah Dutta’s words, “We are intimately connected with the land, and our fates are entwined through every bite of food entering our bodies. Yet, it is a fact all too forgotten in urban spaces. Despite the rifts, there are active initiatives to 're-member' our interdependent connections with farming and food. This book is an invitation to participate in and celebrate the small acts of transformation, as they grow with the potential to usher larger societal changes.”
